Orlando
I just got back from Orlando. Did I mention I got a new job? I got a new job. They took the whole company to Orlando on the company dime as a reward for the amazing year they had in 2007. And just because they're nice, they let me come along even though I had nothing to do with their amazing year. Now I gotta work my ass off this year so we can make it to Aruba next spring.
Anyway, Orlando was awesome despite being like the World's Largest Mall Parking Lot, mostly because it was NOT Chicago in February. Antonia flew down on Friday and we spent all day Saturday by the pool. It was awesome.

The job is great. I work about 50x harder than I did at my old job and it's about 100x more satisfying. It feels really good to be working with really talented people on a project that's already successful and headed towards more success. Hearing the strategic plans for the company's future is exciting because it sounds like they really get where things are going in digital media, and rather than trying to adapt to changes after they occur they are getting in front of the curve and pushing things forward.
Yadda yadda, if I keep that up they're going to transfer my ass to Marketing. Anyway, it's kick ass. I'm super busy. Next week they're flying me to Denver for Ruby on Rails training. I'll upload more photos then.
